What you can do
Zapier connects greetform to the apps your team already uses. greetform sends each new event to Zapier as it happens, and Zapier passes it on.
- Add every finished welcome survey, with all its answers, to a Google Sheet or Airtable base.
- Send each new sponsor lead to the advertiser's CRM, or post it in Slack so a person follows up the same day.
- Create a HubSpot or Salesforce contact from a reader who asked for an offer.
- Turn an event or story submission from your form into a Trello card, Asana task or email.
greetform has four triggers in Zapier:
- Survey Completed: a reader finishes a greetform survey. Includes every answer.
- New Lead: a reader asks for an offer or fills in a lead page.
- New Form Submission: someone sends one of your greetform forms.
- Subscriber Identified: a subscriber has given both a first and last name (once per subscriber).
Connect greetform
Zapier comes with the Growth plan and up. A workspace owner or admin connects it, and there is no key to copy.
- 01
Start a Zap
In Zapier, create a Zap, search for greetform as the trigger app, and pick a trigger.
- 02
Sign in to greetform
When Zapier asks you to connect, press Sign in. Log in to greetform in the window that opens.
- 03
Choose what Zapier can see
Pick the publications to connect. Allow person data if you want names, emails and answers in your Zaps. Without it, Zapier gets only ids and timing. Press Allow.
- 04
Pick a publication and test
Back in Zapier, choose the publication to watch, then press Test trigger. Zapier shows your most recent real events as samples. Turn the Zap on.
Good to know
- Each Zap you turn on appears in Settings, then API & AI, under Webhooks, named Zapier. Turning the Zap off removes it.
- Removing Zapier under Settings, then API & AI, then Connected apps, stops every Zap that uses it right away.
- Zapier only receives events that happen after the Zap is turned on.
- Test survey runs from the editor's preview are never sent.
